Delicious Dahl

can't remember where i watched it, 

either on AFC, or the hundred other cooking channel

on Astro or HyppTv

and apparently the curvaceous Ms Dahl

has her own cooking show

called The Delicious Ms Dahl,

thought the show was highly received by the public,

Sophie also had some backlash from it

as being too sexy whilst cooking,

showing of too much decolletage

and sexing everything up. 

my personal opinion is that the director is trying to channel

a certain other hot cook (Ms Nigella Lawson)

but people can seem to accept Nigella cause it looks natural on her

and forced on Sophie, 

hmmm i can't really say much as i've only watched one episode,

and that i don't curve "that" way,

but i do think she looks delicious and smoking!

a lil too smoking for the kitchen maybe?

they're also saying that Dahl looks terrified in the kitchen

like she has no clue what to do,

or the fact that she doesn't even seem to eat properly

(unlike a certain Lawson that creeps to the fridge in the middle of the nite

for a chicken breast sandwich of dessert from leftovers)

i think people are just taking it the wrong way,

sbb they love Ms Lawson, so bila ada Ms Dahl

trying to poke her alabaster skin through,

depa dok naik hantu lah kok yer?

ha ha ha ha,

anywhoot, let wait and see how the show goes,

i think it's doing swell on Ms Dahl's side,

go cook that lentil girl!

ANTM on Project Runway

 was re-watching the latest season of Project Runway

and during the final runway

on fashion week i saw two of the final designers

opting for girls from ANTM.

during Anya's runway we saw Leslie from ANTM 6

and Teyona the cycle 12 winner walk for Kimberly.

the runway before has seen a handful ANTM girls walking 

some that i remember were Ann, Jaslene, Bianca and hmmm

aannnddd hmmm can't remember no more,

well am surely not surprised, as Italian Vogue

has always been very edgy and fashion forward,

A Super Freak Ending!

ok so, the finale of ANTM All Star was shady as hell,

i mean all through the episode i could count by one hand

how many real fashion moments they were,

i mean seriously, is Tyra tryinna market them 

as models or as celebs? i don't get it.

if someone does get it, can u please educate me?

ok so, the top 3 final girls were Lisa, Angelea and Allison

in my eyes Angelea can model cos she has that height and face, she just needs to be polish

and shoot by a super edgy photographer in Japan or Milan.

while Lisa i don't think even wants to pursue modelling 100 percent,

she wants to sing and endorse this and that hence makes me feel

Allison is the best candidate to win, as she's ready to model,

has THAT face, a really weird persona

and a dress sense (models nowadays needs a great street style)

so i was aiming for either Angelea or Allison to win. 

tapi tiba-tiba finals kau Cik Tyra kata tinggal Lisa and Allison jer,

si Angelea dah kena DQ sebab apo ntah xmo mention.

yang i baca online, apparently Angelea wrote on her FB that she won the competition,

so bila cik Tyra tau dia ala2 ride ghost lah (naik hantu)

and DQ'ed Angelea and re-recorded the final. Which means, if this was true,

the first recording saw Angelea won, Lisa second and Allison third.

so bila they re-recorded tuk kali ke dua, Lisa ala-ala dah saspeck lah dia akan menang kan?

which is like total bullshit. Dok Allison berdiri situ tau dah she'll get third.

Shhessh, mechanic apa uols pakai ni?

i mean it could be handled better lah kan, itu sajork.

now comes to the winner,

yes she's fun, great for a laugh and has an appealing personality,

but i must say Ombak Rindu was surprisingly great,

people should really go watch it and support the movie,

it's really different from those typical movies,

fast pace, tak draggy, great music score

and not bad art direction. 

the scenes and angles are very intriguing 

and romantic. 

but one thing i was quiet terperanjat

was the fact that 10 minutes into the movie,

you already feel like crying, i've no clue why.

but seriously, 

if you haven't seen it, you should

maya karin was awesome, i love love love love her,

especially the part dia mengaji baca Yassin,

and also the part kena pukul dalam toilet.

Oh my!

Meanwhile Aaron Aziz is super sexy dalam cerita ni,

he was smouldering. U wanted to hate him but u simply can't!

he's charming one bit and an ass in another

and yes yes... he's yummmeeehhhh

Milla on the other hand played by Lisa Surihani

is a real character, she overreacted, scream, yells 

and makes my skin crawl,

which means she played the character really well kan?

oh and the music,

the song by Adira and Hafiz is awesome!

after 12 month, this is the final issue of the year,

every title has worked so hard in achieving this,

trust me, it ain't easy coming put with ideas,

concept, who to shoot, what to shoot,

month after month after month.

if you've never been part of an editorial team,

you'll never know the stress of deadlines, loaning and returning,

booking studio, stylist, props, models

fighting over press samples, 

sometimes over cover girls so you'll

have her exclusively on your cover.

rushing back to do the interview,

typing it in, editing it, letting your editor edit it,

graphic complain tak cukup gambar or gambar low res,

call back PR request for bigger pics,

yada yada yada

yes people only see the glamorous part,

the going to fashion show all dressed up and seating the the first two rows

sipping champagne (some soda)

air kissing people (though sometimes we can't keep track who they are)

standing around in them heels

(when we just want to be home or at the office finishing work)
